A full-time School Social Worker position is available in Haslett, MI, supporting K-12 students throughout their educational journey. This contract role, based within a school setting, offers an immediate start and continues through June 5, 2026. The position requires onsite presence to provide comprehensive social work services to the student population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and support services tailored to K-12 students' social and emotional needs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and community resources to develop and implement individualized support plans.
- Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines.
- Advocate for students well-being and work to remove barriers to academic success.
Qualifications:
- Fully licensed LMSW through the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA).
- Possess full approval or professional certification as a School Social Worker through the Michigan Department of Education (MDE).
- No to limited license social workers will not be considered.
- Ability to work onsite during school hours.
