Your primary focus will be facilitating positive changes in students social and emotional development, enhancing their learning experience and overall well-being.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Professional Educator License (PEL) in School Social Work is required.
- Previous experience supporting students across various categories, including IEPs and intervention programs.
- Strong ability to develop and implement strategies for behavioral and social-emotional support.
- Skilled in counseling students individually, in small groups, or within larger classroom settings.
- Ability to collaborate with staff to develop effective Response to Intervention (RTI) strategies.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver social-emotional and behavioral interventions for special and general education students.
- Provide both short- and long-term counseling services, addressing social, emotional, and behavioral difficulties.
- Adapt and modify instructional resources to meet students diverse needs and backgrounds.
- Collaborate with teachers and administrators to recommend and implement RTI strategies that foster student success.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and demonstrate evidence of intervention planning when requested.
