This position seeks a certified Social Worker to provide services within a K-12 public school setting in Chicago, IL. The role is contracted as a school year assignment with potential for conversion to permanent hire. Candidates should possess Illinois School Social Worker (SSW) certification and Professional Educator License (PEL).

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver school-based social work services to support students academic, social, and emotional needs
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff within the assigned school
• Manage caseload and document services in the districts IEP system (training provided)
• Participate in team meetings and maintain regular communication with district personnel

Qualifications:

• Illinois School Social Worker certification required
• Professional Educator License (PEL) required
• Experience working within K-12 school environments preferred
• Ability to work one day per week on-site
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Assignment Details:

• Location: Chicago, IL
• Schedule: One day per week during school year
• Contract Type: Contract-to-Hire
• Assignment Dates: Immediate start, ending at the close of the school year
• Number of Openings: 1
• Interview format: To be conducted after break via Zoom or onsite as determined
