A full-time School Social Worker position is available to support K-12 students during an FMLA leave coverage, from ASAP through the end of February. This onsite role is based in Chicago, IL, and involves providing comprehensive social work services within a school setting.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting assessments and providing individual and group counseling for students grades K-12
• Collaborating with teachers, families, and community resources to address students social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Developing intervention plans and supporting students to improve academic and social outcomes
• Monitoring caseload and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with school policies

Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois School Social Worker (SSW) License
• Professional Educator License (PEL)
• Experience working with K-12 student populations in educational settings preferred
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills for effective collaboration with staff, students, and families
