Job Description

A contract opportunity is available for a dedicated professional skilled in providing essential social services within an educational setting. This role is designed for the 2025-2026 school year and will involve working closely with students across two elementary schools, focusing on their diverse social and emotional needs.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Professional Educator License with School Social Worker Endorsement
  • Experience working in K-12 school environments
  • Ability to support students in various programs, including General Education, Multi-Needs, and Structured Teaching and Learning (STLR)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive school environment

Responsibilities:

  • Provide social, emotional, and behavioral support to students in collaboration with teaching staff
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized plans to address student needs
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions for staff on social-emotional learning
  • Coordinate with families, school personnel, and community resources to support student well-being
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and interventions
