Job Description

This opportunity is for a licensed School Social Worker in Minnesota to support a high school caseload within a K-12 school setting. This maternity leave position begins immediately and extends through April 2026. The role is a contracted assignment providing essential social work support to students and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver counseling and social work services to high school students
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to address student needs
  • Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans
  • Provide crisis intervention and connect students with community resources
  • Maintain case records in compliance with school policies and state regulations

Qualifications:

  • Active Minnesota license as a School Social Worker
  • Experience working with K-12 or specifically high school students preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Knowledge of school social work practices and community resources

Location: Little Canada, MN (within a K-12 school environment)
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Contract Length: Maternity leave coverage through April 2026
