Key Qualifications:

• Valid and active Social Worker license in Michigan
• Previous experience as a School Social Worker preferred
• Skilled in providing counseling, assessment, and intervention services to students
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and administration for holistic student support
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect social work services to students in accordance with IEP/504 plans and district policies
• Collaborate with school team members to develop intervention strategies that enhance student learning and social-emotional well-being
• Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of student support plans
• Maintain accurate, timely records and provide ongoing documentation of student progress
• Serve as a liaison between the school, families, and community resources to support student success
