Make an impact supporting students as a School Social Worker in a contract opportunity from August 24, 2026, through June 4, 2027. This full-time position offers 35 hours per week in an onsite setting near Bronson, MI. Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active Social Worker license in Michigan
- Previous experience as a School Social Worker preferred
- Skilled in providing counseling, assessment, and intervention services to students
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and administration for holistic student support
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect social work services to students in accordance with IEP/504 plans and district policies
- Collaborate with school team members to develop intervention strategies that enhance student learning and social-emotional well-being
- Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of student support plans
- Maintain accurate, timely records and provide ongoing documentation of student progress
- Serve as a liaison between the school, families, and community resources to support student success
