This position offers an opportunity to work as a licensed Social Worker in a K-12 school setting in Bosque Farms, NM. The role is a contract assignment for the current school year, beginning as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the school year. This onsite position requires a commitment of 35 hours per week and involves managing a caseload that includes students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide social work services to support students' emotional and social well-being across the K-12 spectrum.
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and community resources to address student needs.
- Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and deliver counseling as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and school policies.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a current Licensed Social Service Worker (SSW) credential in New Mexico.
- Experience working within school environments preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining confidentiality.
