Job Description

This opportunity seeks a skilled Social Worker to provide comprehensive support within a K-12 school setting. The role is full-time and onsite, focusing on delivering program therapy services to students throughout the academic year. The caseload will be determined based on school needs, allowing for a tailored approach to student care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver therapeutic interventions to students to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and school staff to develop individualized support plans.
  • Conduct assessments and maintain detailed records in compliance with school policies.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care and promote student well-being.
  • Provide crisis intervention and prevention strategies as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid Illinois School Social Worker (SSW) license.
  • Experience working within K-12 educational environments preferred.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage case loads effectively while delivering person-centered care.
