Job Description

This position seeks a dedicated School Social Worker to support elementary students in Arlington Heights, IL. This contract role runs from ASAP through June 1, 2026, requiring 32.5 hours per week onsite. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in school social work and hold relevant Illinois state licensure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide social work services to students in an elementary school environment
  • Manage caseload effectively, addressing student needs and collaborating with faculty
  • Work onsite to deliver direct support and services within the school setting

Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois School Social Worker (SSW) licensure and Professional Educator License (PEL)
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students
  • Strong understanding of social work practices within educational settings
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
