Job Description

A full-time Social Worker position is available within a K-12 school setting in Arlington Heights, IL. This contract role spans the current school year, with an immediate start and continues through the end of the academic term. The successful candidate will provide vital social work services across two schoolsone elementary and one middle schooladdressing the diverse needs of students and supporting their academic and social development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver social work services to students in both elementary and middle school settings
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and community resources to support student well-being
  • Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Provide crisis intervention and counseling as needed
  • Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and state regulations

Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois School Social Worker (SSW) license
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) with appropriate school endorsement
  • Experience working within school environments preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage caseloads effectively across two school sites
