A full-time Social Worker opportunity is available within an elementary school setting in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This contracted position offers a dedicated 35-hour workweek throughout the current school year (CSY).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling services to students to support their social, emotional, and behavioral development.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention plans that address student needs.
• Conduct assessments and maintain documentation related to student well-being.
• Facilitate communication between school, families, and external agencies to coordinate support services.
• Promote a safe, supportive, and inclusive school environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed Social Worker with state credentials appropriate for school settings.
• Experience working with elementary-aged students in educational or counseling roles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families.
• Ability to conduct assessments and develop tailored intervention strategies.
• Familiarity with community resources and ability to connect families with additional support services.
