Job Description

An exciting opportunity awaits for a dedicated professional to provide short-term leave coverage in an elementary school setting. This position is designed for individuals with expertise in speech-language pathology or as a speech-language pathology assistant, looking to make a meaningful impact during the 2025-2026 school year.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language assessments to elementary students.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to facilitate effective communication strategies.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as required.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress.
  • Conduct group and individual therapy sessions in accordance with best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Texas SLP or SLPA license.
  • Experience working with elementary school-aged children preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Knowledge of IEPs and relevant educational regulations.
