A K-12 educational setting in Ventura, CA is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support early childhood students, specifically Preschool and Kindergarten levels. This contract position offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, five days a week, for the current school year (CSY).
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in providing speech and language therapy services to young students.
- Support individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to enhance student outcomes.
- Prepare therapy materials and organize resources for sessions.
Qualifications and Credentials:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) credential.
- Experience working with early childhood populations in school or healthcare settings is preferred.
