An educational opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students in an elementary school setting. This contract position is located in Van Nuys, CA, and is scheduled for the current school year (CSY).

Responsibilities:

• Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering therapeutic services to students with speech, language, and communication needs.
• Support implementation of individualized treatment plans under the supervision of licensed professionals.
• Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate records.
• Collaborate with educators and specialists to promote student communication development.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to care planning as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid SLPA certification or credential.
• Experience working as an SLPA, preferably in school or healthcare environments.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow treatment plans and work under supervision.
• Knowledge of speech and language development in elementary-aged children.
