A K-12 school in Simi Valley, CA, is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to serve early childhood through pre-kindergarten students. This contract position provides an opportunity to apply your California SLPA certification in a supportive educational environment, focusing on helping young learners develop essential communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy services to early childhood and pre-kindergarten students
• Support the speech-language pathologist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Monitor and document student progress and maintain accurate caseload records
• Collaborate with educators and families to enhance student outcomes
• Participate in team meetings and comply with school policies and procedures

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid California SLPA certification required
• Experience working with early childhood populations preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Position Details:
