Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in delivering speech therapy to students with speech and language disorders in various school settings.
- Collaborate with the supervising SLP to carry out individualized therapy plans.
- Help students with skills related to articulation, fluency, and language development.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in interactions with students and staff.
- Participate in IEP meetings and offer insights to support the development of students communication goals.
Qualifications:
- Certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
- Prior experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with students, teachers, and staff.
- Understanding of speech therapy techniques, standards, and ethical guidelines.
