This contract position runs from August 20th through June 10th, 2022, offering a meaningful opportunity to work Monday through Friday (7:45am to 3:15pm) across two welcoming campuses serving students from kindergarten through 8th grade.

Youll be providing care to students with mild to moderate needs, including those on the high-functioning autism spectrum, in a fully inclusive, general education setting. There are no self-contained special day classes, allowing you to focus on fostering social cognition and communication skills in a collaborative, community-oriented environment.

What Were Looking For:

• Valid California State SLP or SLPA licensethis is required
• Experience working within school or healthcare settings supporting children with a range of communication needs
• Comfort with inclusion-based service delivery and supporting students with social thinking goals
• Flexibility to work and travel between two school sites
• Commitment to a full school-year contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct, in-class and pull-out speech/language services for K-8 students
• Support individuals and small groups addressing articulation, receptive/expressive language, and pragmatic language
• Collaborate with teachers, SLP supervisors, and support staff to integrate services into the classroom
• Maintain timely documentation and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
