Job Description

Dynamic opportunity available for a skilled professional in the field of speech-language pathology. This position is designed for individuals dedicated to supporting students in a K-12 educational environment, focusing on enhancing communication skills under the guidance of certified speech-language pathologists.

Location:

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to students with communication disorders, implementing treatment plans as directed by a supervising speech-language pathologist.
  • Conduct individual and group sessions to facilitate speech and language development.
  • Collaborate with educators and other staff to create a supportive learning environment tailored to students' needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance as required.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and needs.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California SLPA license.
  • Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of speech and language development and disorders.
