Job Description

Step into a rewarding school-based contract opportunity for Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) in the vibrant Inland Empire region. Two onsite positions are available for the entire 2026-2027 academic year, providing a collaborative environment where you can hone your skills and make a meaningful difference in children's lives. The assignment begins August 10, 2026, and continues through May 28, 2027, with a consistent full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week (including a 30-minute unpaid lunch).

Qualifications & Desired Background:

  • Associates degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or equivalent program completed
  • Current SLPA state license or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to start date
  • Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, though not mandatory
  • Strong communication and organization skills for effective collaboration with supervising SLPs, educators, and families
  • Passion for supporting students speech, language, and communication goals
  • Proficiency in providing direct and indirect speech-language services under supervision

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver therapy services as outlined in students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) under a licensed SLPs guidance
  • Implement targeted activities to support students speech and language development
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate service logs, progress notes, and documentation
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive school culture
  • Work onsite as part of a dynamic school-based multidisciplinary team throughout the academic year
