This opportunity is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) looking to support early childhood development within an educational setting. Located in Prairieville, LA, this contract role offers a dynamic environment in an early childhood school, focusing on helping young learners improve their communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing speech-language therapy plans designed by licensed speech-language pathologists.
- Support individualized education programs (IEPs) by monitoring student progress and documenting outcomes.
- Work directly with children to enhance their speech, language, and communication abilities.
- Collaborate with educators and therapists to create a positive and encouraging learning environment.
- Maintain communication with families regarding student progress and strategies used in therapy sessions.

- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
