Job Description

Join a K-12 educational setting in Portales, NM, as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) under a contract for the current school year. Key Qualifications:

Location and Schedule:

  • Position based in Portales, NM
  • 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week schedule

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language support services to K-12 students as directed by licensed speech-language pathologists
  • Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collect and document progress data
  • Communicate student needs and progress with therapists, teachers, and parents
  • Maintain professional standards and confidentiality
