Job Description

A dedicated Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is sought for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year in Norman, OK. This full-time position involves working collaboratively with licensed SLPs to support students with communication disorders in an educational setting.

Qualifications:

Current Oklahoma SLPA license
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Previous experience in a school setting strongly desired
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Knowledge of various speech and language disorders and intervention techniques

Location: Norman, OK

Responsibilities:

Assist in the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) as directed by supervising speech-language pathologists
Provide direct support to students experiencing speech and language difficulties
Maintain accurate records of student progress and document interventions
Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to enhance students communication skills
Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
