Location: Santa Clarita, CA
Assignment Dates: August 11 June 3
Schedule: 30 Hours per Week | MondayFriday
School Setting: Junior High and High School
Employment Type: Full-Time School Year Contract

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to join a school-based team in Santa Clarita, California. This position offers the opportunity to work with junior high and high school students while supporting licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering speech and language services that help students achieve academic and communication success.

Responsibilities
- Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in providing speech and language therapy services.
- Implement treatment plans developed by supervising SLPs.
- Support students with articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication goals.
- Maintain accurate therapy documentation and progress notes.
- Prepare therapy materials and activities.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and educational staff.
- Support students in classroom and therapy settings as directed by the supervising SLP.
- Follow all district, state, and federal guidelines regarding student services.
Qualifications
- Current California SLPA license/registration required.
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
