Job Description

A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support K-12 students in Murrieta, CA, beginning ASAP through June 5, 2026. This position involves a split assignment between two schools, serving students across various special education settings.

  • Split Assignment between:
    1. French Valley Elementary
    2. Margarita Middle School

Responsibilities:

  • Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in delivering speech therapy services to students with Moderate-Severe Autism, Resource Specialist Program (RSP), and Special Day Class (SDC) caseloads.
  • Support the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) under supervision.
  • Collaborate with experienced SLPs and educational teams to enhance speech and language development.
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Valid SLPA certification or license.
  • Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other special education populations.
  • Ability to follow therapy plans and adapt to varied caseload needs.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
