Job Description

This position is for a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) working in a supportive elementary school setting serving Kindergarten through 5th grade students. It offers a full-time contract opportunity with consistent hours and meaningful work helping young learners develop their communication skills.

Qualifications:

  • Valid North Carolina SLPA License is required
  • Experience working in schools is strongly preferred

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 40 hours per week, 5 days a week
  • Age Group: K-5th grade students
  • Setting: Elementary school environment

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Speech Language Pathologists in implementing speech and language interventions
  • Support students in improving communication abilities and participating in classroom activities
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to provide targeted support
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records
