Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year at two campuses serving grades 7-12 in the Houston, TX area. This on-site role supports students across secondary education within a K-12 public school setting.

Location:
Two campuses in the Richmond, TX area (George Ranch High School and Reading Junior High)

Schedule:
Full-time, approximately 35 hours per week
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: May 21, 2026

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language assistance to 8090 students across both campuses
  • Collaborate with speech-language pathologists and educational staff to implement individualized treatment plans
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school policies
  • Support communication and learning goals tailored to secondary school students

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid professional license as an SLPA or equivalent
  • Experience working with adolescents in a school-based environment preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively on-site, engaging directly with students and multidisciplinary teams

Additional Information:

  • This is a contract role contingent upon school district funding approval, currently in process
  • Position is located within a well-established public school district serving diverse learners
