Make a difference in the lives of young learners as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a supportive school environment for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract position offers the opportunity to work closely with early childhood and elementary-aged students, making a lasting impact on their communication and academic success. Youll work a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week, collaborating with a strong team of educators and specialists.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Colorado SLPA license required
- Experience supporting speech-language services in school-based settings is highly valued
- Proven ability to work with early childhood and elementary caseloads
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Enthusiasm for helping young children develop essential speech and language abilities
- Flexibility to adapt to changing student needs and classroom situations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in implementing therapy plans
- Deliver direct services to students under supervision, within early childhood and elementary settings
- Collect and document data on student progress, maintaining accurate records
- Support students communication skill development through engaging activities
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary professionals
- Contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive classroom environment
