Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available supporting students in grades 7-12 across two campuses: George Ranch High School and Reading Junior High in Richmond, TX. This role offers an on-site opportunity to work directly within a K-12 school setting, serving a caseload of approximately 80-90 students with diverse speech and language needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language support services under the supervision of certified Speech-Language Pathologists
  • Assist with individualized treatment plans and documentation
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate caseload records
  • Collaborate with educational staff to support student communication goals
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions

Qualifications:

  • Valid professional SLPA license or certification
  • Experience working with school-aged children, preferably grades 7-12
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow ethical guidelines

Location & Schedule:

  • On-site role based in Richmond, TX
  • Full-time schedule, approximately 35 hours per week
  • Contract duration starting ASAP through May 21, 2026
