Job Description

An opportunity exists for a skilled professional specializing in supportive services within educational settings. This role is designed for those who are passionate about enhancing the learning experiences of students through dedicated therapy assistance.

Location: Chicago, IL
Work Environment: K-12 School
Hours: 32.5 hours/week
Contract Duration: 2025-2026 School Year

Responsibilities:

  • Assist licensed speech-language pathologists in delivering therapeutic services to students.
  • Implement treatment plans as directed and monitor student progress.
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to facilitate students learning and communication.
  • Maintain accurate records of services provided and progress notes.
  • Support students in individual and group settings, fostering a positive learning environment.

Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois SLPA License.
  • Experience working with K-12 students, preferably in school or healthcare settings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Familiarity with therapy tools and techniques used in speech-language pathology.
