Job Description

This full-time, on-site Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) position supports a remote Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in a school setting serving students from TK through 5th grade near Belfair, WA. The role offers an opportunity to work collaboratively in delivering speech-language services to young learners under the supervision of a licensed SLP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the remote SLP by implementing individualized therapy plans for students.
  • Provide direct support to students in speech and language development within the classroom.
  • Monitor progress and document student performance to help guide treatment adjustments.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to support student needs.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss student progress and therapy goals.

Desired Experience and Skills:

  • Certification as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA).
  • Familiarity with pediatric speech therapy practices, especially in school settings.
