Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available to provide maternity leave coverage from mid-January through June 5th at a K-12 public school in Arroyo Grande, CA. This onsite role offers the opportunity to support students across multiple grade levels within one school location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Assist in implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to the needs of K-12 students.
  • Monitor and document student progress, maintaining compliance with applicable guidelines.
  • Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support student communication goals.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California SLPA licensure is required.
  • Experience working with school-aged children in educational settings preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
