Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working in a school-based environment highly preferred
- Comfortable working with students across K-12, including elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student speech and language needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with speech-language impairments
- Provide direct therapy and intervention, adapting strategies to diverse student populations
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to promote student success
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and ensure compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights to student support teams
