Job Description

An educational institution in Yakima, WA, is seeking five skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. These positions are ideal for professionals with a passion for supporting students' communication needs within a K-12 environment. Each SLP will be assigned to a maximum of two sites, allowing for focused and impactful work with students.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist License
  • Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage a typical full-time caseload of 45 students

Location:

  • Yakima, WA

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educational staff
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy techniques as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' overall development
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of service delivery and student progress
