A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for a maternity leave contract at an elementary school in Woodbridge, VA. This onsite role offers the opportunity to work with a caseload of approximately 50 students, providing essential speech-language services during the school year (CSY). This position is ideal for a licensed SLP seeking to make a meaningful impact in a supportive educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Virginia state license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is required
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology preferred
- Experience working in school settings, particularly elementary or middle school levels
- Strong skills in speech, language, and communication assessments and interventions
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to students with identified communication needs
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students educational goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and state regulations
