Qualifications & Experience Sought:

  • Valid Maryland SLP license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
  • Experience with pediatric populations, preferably in school or healthcare-based roles
  • Knowledge of teletherapy platforms and remote service delivery (preferred)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide evidence-based interventions for students with speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain comprehensive records and progress notes, ensuring compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
  • Engage with students, teachers, and families to support students progress across academic and social settings
  • Utilize teletherapy solutions as appropriate to increase access and flexibility for students
