A full-time Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) contract position is available from March 1, 2026, through June 5, 2026, in a school setting located in Wilkes Barre, PA. This opportunity requires expertise working with early childhood students, specifically ages 4 to 5 years, focusing on approximately 130 evaluations. The role offers a comprehensive caseload designed for certified SLP professionals who hold or are eligible for the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct around 130 speech and language evaluations for early childhood students.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation outcomes.
- Collaborate with educators and parents to support student communication goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in compliance with school and state guidelines.
- Deliver services full-time onsite within the school environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience working in a school setting with early childhood populations.
- Strong evaluation and assessment skills specific to speech and language disorders.
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload with attention to detail and organization.
