Embark on a rewarding opportunity supporting young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF) providing crucial early intervention services in Carbon and Lehigh Counties. This contract position offers a diverse caseload with itinerant responsibilities, predominantly within preschool settings, with the possibility of shifting to work with PreK12 students as the school year progresses. You will serve students across multiple locations, fostering communication skills that set the stage for lifelong success.
Key Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Active provisional/temporary Pennsylvania SLP License (must provide proof)
- Clinical Fellowship (CFY) status or eligibility
- Experience or strong interest in delivering speech therapy in schools, preferably in early intervention or PreK12 settings
- Ability to commute to various sites within Carbon or Lehigh County for in-person services
- Flexibility and adaptability to support both preschool and school-aged students
- Passion for fostering development and communication in young learners
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, in-person speech-language therapy to preschoolers, adapting interventions to meet a range of needs
- Travel between assigned schools or service locations within Carbon and Lehigh counties
- Maintain ongoing assessment and progress documentation in accordance with local and state guidelines
- Collaborate with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Stay responsive to assignment transitions, potentially supporting students across PreK12 as needed
