Job Description

A full-time, bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the complete school year at a K-12 educational setting in Wheaton, IL. This onsite contract position offers the chance to provide essential speech and language support to students across all grade levels, with a focus on delivering high-quality bilingual services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to bilingual student needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and ensure inclusive communication strategies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
  • Experience working as an SLP in a school environment, preferably with bilingual student populations.
  • Proficiency in bilingual assessment and therapy techniques.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and school staff.
  • Commitment to professional development and student-centered support.
