Job Description

A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) is sought for multiple full-time contract positions within schools across West Palm Beach, FL. Assignments vary by location and age group, serving students from pre-kindergarten through high school with diverse communication needs including regular education, autism spectrum disorder, PreK communication models, and more. This role requires delivering speech-language pathology services in-person to support student development across numerous county school sites.

Location: West Palm Beach, FL (multiple school locations throughout the county)
Contract Type: Full-time, contract
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 5/29/2026
Hours: 35 hours per week (7 hours per day)
Assignments: Multiple schools with varied caseloads and student populations

Qualifications:

  • Active Florida Speech Language Pathologist License from Department of Health
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Experience working in school-based settings preferred
  • Successful completion of fingerprinting as required by Florida Department of Education and related clearance processes
  • Ability to provide direct, on-site speech therapy to children ranging from PreK to high school levels
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators and families

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized speech-language therapy services to students with varied communication disorders
  • Participate in assessments, progress monitoring, and documentation according to district guidelines
  • Collaborate with school teams and families to support interventions that enhance student success
  • Manage caseloads across assigned schools effectively
