Job Description

In a dynamic educational environment, professionals are sought to provide specialized speech-language pathology services in a K-12 setting. This role focuses on addressing the diverse needs of high school students, particularly those with Speech-Language Disorders and varying eligibility classifications.

Location:
West Chicago, IL

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech services in accordance with IEP requirements.
  • Collaborate with educational staff to support student communication needs.
  • Conduct assessments to determine student eligibility and formulate relevant therapy plans.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for each student.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide consultation services as needed.
  • Utilize a team approach to enhance therapeutic outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Speech-Language Pathologist with a current IL license.
  • Active Professional Educator License (PEL).
  • Bilingual capabilities preferred.
  • Experience in school settings, particularly with high school students.
  • Familiarity with various eligibility categories, especially SLD and autism.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
