Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Certified Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence).
  • Experience in a school setting, particularly with elementary students (PK-5).
  • Strong understanding of AAC devices and their implementation.
  • Ability to develop and manage caseloads effectively.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Location:

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and treat students with speech and language disorders, tailoring interventions to individual needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop comprehensive IEPs (Individualized Education Programs).
  • Utilize AAC devices to enhance communication for students requiring alternative methods.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and strategies.
