Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech Language Pathologist in a local school setting. Youll join a welcoming school community and provide vital speech-language services to a manageable caseload.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage a student caseload capped at 45
  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
  • Deliver direct therapy minutes in accordance with IEPs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Track and document student progress, maintaining compliance with school and state regulations
  • Participate in meetings and support school-based initiatives as needed

Ideal Background:

  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP Endorsement
  • SLP-CCC certification required
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
  • Comfortable working with children who have mild to moderate speech and language needs
