Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity working with high school seniors as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for the 2024/2025 school year. This rewarding position begins August 19, 2024, and runs through May 30, 2025. Youll dedicate 35 hours per week supporting students in 12th grade, making a meaningful impact on their communication skills as they prepare for graduation and their next steps.

Key Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid SLP-CCC credential
• Eligibility for Illinois state licensure
• Prior experience in a school setting preferred
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Passion for working with teenagers in a supportive, educational environment

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy to high school seniors, with specific caseload numbers confirmed at assignment start
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) based on student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to ensure coordinated support
• Maintain appropriate documentation and regular progress reports
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Follow district, state, and federal rules and guidelines for student services
