Job Description

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the current school year at a K-8 school in Watkins, CO. This contract opportunity offers an onsite role with a part-time schedule averaging 28 hours per week (.7 FTE), running from ASAP through the end of the school year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with Special Education Teachers to develop daily schedules, coordinate testing, and plan annual IEP meetings.
  • Maintain and provide accurate speech and language caseload lists to support the master Special Education roster.
  • Deliver specially designed instruction in resource room, inclusion, or pullout formats to address each students unique communication needs.
  • Work jointly with staff and families to promote student progress and ensure achievement of IEP goals.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience with at-risk or special education student populations is preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities.
