Job Description
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support a K-12 school in Warren, MI, for a leave contract lasting from ASAP through March. This role focuses on providing speech and language services to a caseload of approximately 40 students with diverse communication needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students across K-12 grade levels
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation following district and state guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and IEP development as required
Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan SLP certification or license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
- Experience working in school settings with K-12 students
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively and adapt to student needs
Schedule & Location:
- Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:15 AM to 3:10 PM
- Position located in Warren, Michigan within a K-12 school environment
