Job Description

An experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for an elementary school setting serving students from Kindergarten through 5th grade. This position is based in Warren, MI, and offers a contract role through the current school year, starting as soon as possible and ending in June.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive student assessments to identify speech and language needs.
  • Develop individualized educational goals and assist in writing IEPs.
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings to discuss student progress and goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services to support student communication development.
  • Manage caseload effectively across assigned schools with itinerant responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Michigan License in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) is required.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) is highly preferred.
  • Experience working in elementary school settings or with K-5 students.
  • Strong skills in assessment, goal planning, and direct therapy provision.
  • Ability to work four days per week and manage travel between school sites as needed.

  • Warren, Michigan, elementary school environment serving Mt. Clemens and surrounding areas.
