Job Description

A rewarding opportunity is available for a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to provide specialized services in an early childhood educational setting. This contract position supports the communication development of young learners, focusing on early intervention and individualized therapy plans to enhance speech and language skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in young children
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the needs of each student
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support holistic child development
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Monitor progress and adjust therapy goals as necessary to ensure positive outcomes

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working with early childhood populations in educational or clinical settings
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with families and staff
  • Ability to manage caseloads efficiently while delivering compassionate care
  • Knowledge of early childhood developmental milestones and related speech-language challenges

Location:
Position is based in Warren, Michigan, serving an early childhood school community.
