Job Description

Join a dynamic K-12 school setting in Warren, MI, as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) dedicated to supporting elementary students. This contract position offers the flexibility of full-time or part-time hours within a nurturing educational environment focused on fostering student growth and communication development.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering speech and language therapy services primarily to elementary students
  • Collaborating with educators and support staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Conducting assessments and maintaining accurate documentation of student progress
  • Providing teletherapy sessions as needed, utilizing current best practices
  • Supporting students across diverse educational and clinical settings

Qualifications:

  • Valid Michigan SLP license required
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
  • Experience working within school settings strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with pediatric speech-language therapy and teletherapy modalities
  • Completion or active engagement in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) highly desirable
