An opportunity is available for a skilled speech-language pathologist to support students in a K-12 school setting. This role focuses on addressing the diverse communication needs of approximately 40 students, providing essential services that enhance their educational experiences.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Nebraska Speech-Language Pathologist license
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings
• Familiarity with IEPs and the special education process

Location:
Wakefield, NE

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for students with speech and language disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create supportive learning environments
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation as required
• Conduct screenings and evaluations to identify students needing speech and language services
• Deliver direct therapy and intervention in both one-on-one and group settings
